Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of web applications, encompassing functional, usability, regression, and automation testing to verify complete user workflows.
• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to accelerate repetitive testing and improve coverage.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, or Mabl) for intelligent test generation, visual regression detection, defect prediction, and self-healing test maintenance.
• Identify, document, and report defects, including detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, severity assessments, and integration with automated test results.
• Create, maintain, and monitor tickets within JIRA, collaborating with developers to prioritize high-severity issues and track automation script enhancements.
• Classify defects by category (e.g., user interface, functionality, performance) and furnish actionable recommendations for resolution, incorporating AI insights where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to replicate issues, validate fixes (manual and automated), and facilitate release processes.
• Contribute to test planning and documentation efforts, including automation frameworks and AI tool integrations, to enhance testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in manual testing of web applications, with exposure to automation testing.
• Proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking and ticket management.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and AI testing tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, Mabl).
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end testing methodologies and web technologies, including browser compatibility, responsive design principles, and basic scripting (e.g., JavaScript or Python).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
