Software Tester

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications to ensure they meet quality standards and perform as expected. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues, document defects, and ensure smooth delivery of reliable software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Identify, record, and track bugs or defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–3+ years of experience in software testing (manual or automation).
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with automation frameworks (TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Knowledge of API testing and mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Java, or JavaScript).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
