Senior Software Engineers (AI Enablement / Advanced Engineering)
Avenues International Inc., a well-established U.S.–India IT consulting firm, is expanding its engineering team in India as part of a strategic partnership with a leading applied AI company building next-generation AI software agents.
We are looking to hire Senior Software Engineers in India who are strong engineers first, and excited to work hands-on with cutting-edge AI systems in real-world enterprise environments.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer , you will work closely with AI platform and customer teams to:
- Build, customize, and integrate AI-powered software solutions
- Enable enterprise customers to adopt AI-driven development workflows
- Work hands-on with modern software stacks and agent-based systems
- Act as a technical problem-solver, mentor, and trusted engineering partner
This is not a research role . It is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role working on production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Work with AI agents, LLM-based systems, and automation frameworks
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance
- Collaborate with global teams (India & U.S.)
- Participate in customer onboarding, technical workshops, and solution enablement
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Eight plus years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with backend systems, APIs, and cloud-based applications
- Solid understanding of software design, debugging, and scalability
Good to Have (Differentiators)
- Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based systems
- Experience working in startups or fast-paced product teams
- Customer-facing or consulting experience
- Passion for learning, teaching, and mentoring
