We are seeking an experienced
Business Data Analyst
to support data-driven initiatives across enterprise digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly data-focused, have strong Agile experience, and work closely with backend and technical teams to translate complex data requirements into clear business solutions.

Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a data-heavy Business Analyst supporting enterprise-level data portfolios
- Support two portfolios:
- External Portfolio: Corporate external websites and partnerships
- Data Portfolio: Enterprise data platforms and services
- Work extensively with data platforms, data portals, and enterprise services
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Data 360, business-ready data, regulatory frameworks, and enterprise services
- Collaborate closely with backend and technical teams to understand data flows, integrations, and process logic
- Translate data and system behaviors into clear user stories, backlogs, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate across teams to ensure accurate representation of data from disparate platforms and metrics
- Create dashboards and reports as required, potentially using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support SAFe-based delivery environments
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to “read the room” and communicate effectively
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong data-centric focus
- Extensive experience working in Agile environments (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data flows, and enterprise data platforms
- Experience gathering requirements for data portals, dashboards, and reporting solutions
- Ability to work closely with technical teams; technical aptitude required (coding not required)
- Background or foundational knowledge in Computer Science or related technical domains preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) experience (strong plus)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms
- SAFe / Agile certifications (highly preferred)
- Prior experience in regulatory or compliance-driven data environments
