Business Data Analysts (AI) at Lemmata are responsible for transforming raw fragmented and siloed real-time data into actionable AI business insights that drive business profitability. This role involves overseeing real-time data systems, ensuring data integrity, mapping data to business knowledge / operating models and developing visualizations that are targeted at solving complex business problems, in a simple and rapid manner.

Responsibilities
- Build and deliver a business context semantic layer that effectively translates complex data from fragmented data sources, like CRM’s, Data Lakes, ERP, POS etc., into business outcome models.
- Collaborate with customers and Business development teams to gather data ingestion and reporting requirements.
- Develop and enhance data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Design, develop, and maintain Semantic models ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Optimize data models and scripts for efficient data analysis and performance.
- Implement advanced statistical methods for data model accuracy and reliability.
- Build interactive, visually appealing dashboards preferably using Qlik Sense, with added experience on Tableau or PowerBI.
- Hands-on experience in building effective NLQ prompts under Qlik insights advisor and Qlik answers.
- Design and refactor data lakes to improve data quality, discoverability, and exploration capabilities.
- Monitor query performance, optimize data models, and automate anomaly detection.
- Practical experience applying AI techniques (e.g., trend detection, anomaly detection, forecasting, natural language processing/summarization) to support business analysis and decision-making

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data management (governance, quality, warehousing, BI, and data science).
- Deep understanding of applying data to strategic planning and business processes.
- 5+ years managing enterprise-grade business data, across a range of business verticals domains for developing based contextual business insights.
- 5+ years in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and integration across enterprise applications and RDBMS/big data systems.
- 5+ years of experience in Visualization tools like Qlik Sense development, with a strong understanding of data modeling, scripting, and visualization principles.
- Strong experience with Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL/NoSQL, and advanced data technologies (Databricks, Spark, AWS, Snowflake, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude toward complex challenges.
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of Python / R for building custom data processing scripts or integrating machine learning models.
- Familiarity with building or deploying machine learning models, allowing for deeper data analysis and prediction capabilities within the BI framework.
- Understanding of SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations, ensuring that data handling practices meet legal standards.
- Experience with data encryption, access control, and general data security best practices, particularly in sensitive or regulated industries.
