**Position Title: SRE - Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Birmingham, AL

Position Status: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $115K/Annum**

Position Description:

We are seeking a Network Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain robust network systems that power enterprise-level data communications. In this role, you will ensure network reliability, optimize performance, and support critical infrastructure for technology-driven operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage network configurations, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements for scalability and security. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and administer network systems to support secure and efficient data communications.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain uptime and reliability.

Manage load configurations and recommend upgrades for hardware and software to optimize network performance.

Coordinate installation and maintenance of network equipment, including terminals, cabling, and connectivity solutions.

Serve as a point of contact for performance analysis, scalability planning, and service architecture improvements.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate service agreements and ensure compliance with standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and processes.

Required Skills/Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

3–5 years of experience in network administration or systems engineering.

Proficiency in networking protocols, Unix/Linux and Windows environments, and distributed computing systems.

Hands-on experience with Internet security, Oracle ERP, and network monitoring tools.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with change management processes and best practices.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based networking solutions and cybersecurity frameworks.

Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and network optimization.
